At Powder Mafia, we stand behind the quality of our work. We use top-grade powders, industry-proven techniques, and strict quality control to deliver finishes that last. Below is our official warranty and guarantee policy.

Workmanship Guarantee

All powder coating services performed by Powder Mafia come with a standard 12-month workmanship guarantee. This covers:

• Peeling, flaking, or cracking due to improper application
• Incomplete or uneven coverage
• Color inconsistency caused by our process

If an issue occurs due to workmanship, we’ll recoat the affected part free of charge (excluding shipping or disassembly if needed).

What’s Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover damage caused by:

• Improper surface prep by the customer (if applicable)
• Improper installation or handling after pickup or delivery
• Normal wear and tear, corrosion from road salts or chemicals
• Impact damage (e.g., chips from rocks or dropped parts)
• Exposure to extreme temperatures outside of powder specs
• Firearm coating failures due to solvent immersion or harsh cleaners
• Coating over chrome, paint, or unknown substrates not properly blasted

Recoat Policy

If recoating is needed outside of warranty coverage, we offer discounted rates for rework or strip-and-recoat jobs for returning customers.

Firearms & Custom Projects Disclaimer

Due to the nature of firearms and specialty parts:

• All serialized parts are handled with care and logged.
• We do not guarantee against coating wear on friction areas (rails, triggers, slides, etc.).
• Customers are responsible for disassembly unless arranged in advance.

Ship-to-Coat Warranty Notes

• All shipped items must be packed securely.
• We are not responsible for damage in transit to or from our shop.
• Shipping insurance is available upon request.
